Hey Fellow Emotional Eatin' Mamas, let's talk!

The reality of being a busy mom who emotionally eats is

1) The people closest to me often didn't understand the type of support I needed

2) I was beyond frustrated when I would sabotage my own efforts over and over again

3) I couldn't get control of my habits and it left me with a huge amount of guilt

4) I was sick and tired of the destructive cycle, but I just didn't know how to end it for good

As a result of this reality, I found myself a 50lb overweight, overwhelmed, stressed out and anxious mom.

I was completely unhappy in my own body and it was trickling into the rest of my life.

I found myself deleting family photos because I was embarrassed with how I looked. I felt tremendous guilt that I was erasing family memories because of my own insecurities.

I decided at that point I could either:

(a) give up and let my weight and emotional eating control my life or

(b) come back swinging and do something about the situation I was in.

I started working out at home with 30 minute routines that are perfect for women like us.

I learned how to follow simple meal plans that worked with my life, and I stayed motivated and accountable to my goals for the first time ever, thanks to an online support group.

In the beginning I had to modify EVERY SINGLE WORKOUT, and redefine my relationship with food, but I was taking back control, which was something I had never done before.

I'm now stronger, healthier and happier than ever! I no longer feel like cravings run my life, and I can be the wife and mother my husband and kids deserve!
